Happy Pongal !!
In this special day of salutation to Sun, Farmers, Bulls and Nature, I wish to introduce a section for various Millets.. India is the country which grows most of the Millets and it has been the staple food of our country from a very long back.. As a generation of transfers and transmissions, we need to know about our crops and vegetation.. Let us learn from this post and educate our children..
Millet does not mean any particular item.. it is a category name given to small seeds.. Millet grow in warm countries and even in regions with poor soil.. Thanks to themselves requiring limited water, they are farmer's friends..
There are a number of Millets.. C'mon let us see..
