
If you are trying to lose weight, it is better to have this soup as a dinner with a slice of toasted bread. You can have some creamy soups then and there. But mostly prefer some thin and light soups.
This corn and peas soup is a zero oil recipe.. You can make it in 10 minutes,, I found this yummy soup recipe in "Cooking Light" Magazine.
If you are just including this soup as an appetizer, you can add a little fresh cream. I just added a tablespoon of milk to give it a texture. Try this once at home and reply me back..

Ingredients
Quick Procedure
- 1/4 cup Fresh Green Peas
- 1/4 cup Sweet Corn
- 1 tblspn of milk
- pepper and salt as per taste
Quick Procedure
- Take corn, peas and a cup of water in a pan. Add little salt too.
- Let them get cooked well. Then allow it to get cooled.
- Reserve some corn and peas for garnishing.
- Take the rest of corn and peas in a blender and puree them.
- Add this puree to the corn and peas you have reserved. Bring the soup to boil.. Its done..
- Add milk and pepper powder.. Serve it..
