Sweet Ragi Kanji or Ragi Porridge Recipe
Sweet Ragi Kanji is very very simple to make. Using Ragi Porridge for Weight Loss is one of the simple and easy recipes to use as Indian Diet Breakfast.
- 1/4 cup Ragi Flour (Finger Millet Flour)
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2 tsp powdered Jaggery (Vellam)
- a pinch of Elakkai Podi (Cardamom)
- 5 Almonds (Badam)
Mix water with ragi flour and make it like a thin batter. Finely chop almonds.
Heat half cup of water in a saucepan. Bring it to boil. Add the ragi flour batter. Start mixing. It will become thick. Maintain a medium flame and stir often. It will get cooked in 10 minutes.
Add powdered jaggery and elakkai podi. Mix well till jaggery melts. Switch off the flame and cool it.
Sprinkle some chopped almonds and serve it warm. Sweet Ragi Porridge is ready.
