From the time I heard that broccoli is rich in protein, I wished to try a number of dishes with broccoli. The reason is that I am not a big fan of meats. I am convenient to have non-veg once or twice in a month. That too just to include some kind of protein. This reason stirred me to try a variety of broccoli dishes. When I tasted broccoli for the first time, I did not like it. My husband is pretty convenient to have boiled broccoli with salt and pepper. But I needed a spiced up version.
One day I just tried my usual cauli flower masala recipe with broccoli. Unexpectedly, it worked out I really felt happy to taste that aromatic dish. It tasted like a non-veg. NOthing else to say.. I have included it in our weekly menu and having it often. A good source of protein ofcourse. If you are following a weight loss diet, you could include this dish and have it as a side dish. It is good in protein and will keep you filled.
