Whenever we feel that we have an upset stomach, we go in search for comfort foods.. Idli is my favorite and it is the best comfort food.. Other than it I will go for porridges or kanji.. My mom makes a variety of kanjis.. I love the way she serves Kanjis.. We have with tasty spicy Thogayals and Onion Poriyals.. I am familiar with many porridges like ragi kanji, kambu kanji, oats kanji, paal kanji, poondu kanju, ulunthu kanji, siruparuppu kanji, pasipayaru kanji, thattapayaru kanji and few more.. I will post them one by one.. All these kanjis are perfect diet foods.. They have proteins and they make us feel full.. Also the preparation method is so simple that anyone can make in no time..
I would suggest you to make and have such kind of porridge recipes, while you breastfeed your child.. It will increase mother's milk.. Other health benefits are based on the type of ingredients you use..
