Non-Stick Cookware - How to Handle with Care


This is just continuation to the previous post. There we saw the pros and cons of using a non-stick cookware. In this post, I am going to tell you some precaution steps, simple tips and cleaning tips. I hope this post helps you a bit.

NEVER PUT IT ON HIGH FLAME. Maintain a medium flame and keep an eye on it. Low flame is also good to go.



NEVER USE STEEL LADLE (KARANDI). If you use them, definitely the cookware gets scratches.




USE ONLY NYLON OR WOODEN LADLE. It is like cell phone and its cover. If you buy non-stick cookware, buy proper spoons too.




USE ONLY A SOFT SCRATCH PAD. It prevents abrasion. You need to instruct your maid. You should also give a word of caution to your relatives, if they wash it.




NEVER LEAVE IT OILY. It will become greasy and difficult to wash, later. Washing with force could bring scratches.




IF YOU FIND A SCRATCH, THROW IT OUT. Once you find a scratch, don't worry. Just throw it away. A teflon intake will spare more bucks than your vessel.
