Ingredients
For Making Batter
- 1 cup Moong Gram (Pasi Payaru)
- 1 inch Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds (Seerakam)
- 1 Green Chilli
- Salt (required)
For Making Dosas
- 1/2 Onion (finely chopped)
- handful Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
- 1/8 cup Gingelly Oil
Instructions
- Soak Moong Gram or Pasi Payaru for 12 to 14 Hours.
- Take cumin, green chilli and ginger in a mixer jar and grind it. Add Soaked Moong Gram (Pasi Payaru) and grind it again. Add little water and grind it to a smooth batter. Add salt and let this batter rest for 1 hour. Letting it rest for 1 hours makes soft Pesarattu.
- Heat a griddle. Apply little oil and spread the batter. Sprinkle chopped onion and coriander. Apply little oil on top of it and the sides.
- Turn it to the next side after few minutes and cook till it becomes soft and well done. Transfer to a plate and serve with Chutneys of your choice.

Take cumin, green chilli and ginger in a mixer jar and grind it. Add Soaked Moong Gram (Pasi Payaru) and grind it again.
