Beetroot is full of health benefits. It has lots of iron and beta carotene. It is good for eyes, improving Haemoglobin and improving skin complexion.

 

Usually, Beetroot Milkshake is not common as the flavor is not good without adding proper additives. To make it more tastier, I have used Cardamom. You can use Rose Water instead of Cardamom. Both will result in a good flavor. This improved flavor makes it a nice drink for pregnant women and even kids. This is not diabetic friendly. You can try this recipe more confidently. The taste will be too gud.

Ingredients

Making Beetroot Purée

  • Half Beetroot
  • 4 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 8 Cashews

To make milkshake

  • 3 Cups Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

Instructions

Making Beetroot Purée

  1. Chop beetroot finely. Take it in a saucepan, add 1/2 cup water, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder and cashews.

  2. Cover and cook it till Beetroot is cooked soft. After it becomes soft, switch off the flame and cook it down. 

  3. Take it in a mixer jar, add required sugar and purée it. You can preserve it in a container and use it whenever you want. Shelf life is 5 days.

Making Milkshake

  1. Take Beetroot Puree, 3 cup of Boiled and cooled milk. Add 1/2 tsp of Cardamom Powder. 

  2. Mix well, chill it for one hour and serve in a glass. Finally sprinkle a pinch of Cardamom powder at the top before serving. It enhances the flavor.
