I love spicy side dshes. My husband also likes it. Cauliflower is rich in fiber and vitamin k. It also has more folic acid. Cauliflower podimas will be more easy to make. It goes well with with rasam or curd rice.

Ingredients
  • half head of Cauliflower
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • little curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds and sombu
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp curry masala powder
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • salt

Quick Procedure
  • Finely chop onion. Crush garlic. Finely chop cauliflower. Put it in boiled water for 5 minutes.
  • Heat some oil in a kadai. Add fennel seeds and let it sputter. Add crushed garlic and saute once or twice. Add onions and saute till they become transparent and start turning golden brown. 
  • Add cauliflower and saute for a while. Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and curry masala powder. Keep the flame very low, saute and fry it till it becomes cooked. 
  • Make a place in the center. Add little coconut oil and curry leaves. The curry leaves will get fried. Again mix everything well. Increase the flame and let everything get fried and roasted. We are done.
