
This is one of the smoothies I found in a magazine recently and I have fallen in love with this flavor. This is my current favorite weight loss smoothie. It is rich in vitamin C and A. It also has traces of protein from almond. It accelerates your body metabolism and thus results in weight loss.
Orange is my favorite fruit. If anything is given to me in the flavor, I will definitely have it. Finding a recipe in a magazine, with my favorite orange, with my favorite smoothie made me to try this recipe in the morning. The actual picture was a lot more better than mine, I am a practising photographer right. So you have to bear with me !!
Orange gives a nice flavor. Almond makes the smoothie thick. Carrot also makes the smoothie thick. I feel this smoothie comes good only woth frozen oranges and soaked almonds. Otherwise the consistency will become crumby and undesirable to drink !!

Frozen oranges - 1 cup
Soaked Almonds - a handful
Honey or Raw Sugar - 1 teaspoon

Quick Procedure
Take soaked almonds in a blender and grind it to asmooth paste.
Add frozen oranges and carrot to it. Add sugar or honey. Puree the entire mixture again.
Add a cup of water and give a final pulse. Transfer it to a glass and serve chill.
