Ingredients
Quick Procedure
For making Syrup - (you can store it in fridge upto 2 weeks)
- 1 cup Fresh Strawberries
- Lemon Skin (Zest from 1 Lemon)
- 3 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1/4 cup water
For making teas using the syrup we made
- 1/4 cup syrup
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup hot water
Quick Procedure
For making Syrup - (you can store it in fridge upto 2 weeks)
- Finely chop strawberries. Grate lemon and collect the skin (zest)
- Take chopped strawberries, lemon zest, 3 tblspn sugar and 1/4 cup water in a pan.
- Boil it for 20 minutes. The strawberries will become soft. The syrup gets reduced.
- Strain and collect the syrup.
- Transfer it to an air-tight container. Preserve it in refrigerator. Shelf life is 2 weeks.
For making teas using the syrup we made
- Take 1/4 cup of the strawberry syrup.
- Add a cup of hot water.
- Add 1 tsp lemon juice. Strawberry Tea is ready.
